Homeschool Makers: Week 4

Dates: Wednesdays–Sept. 10, 17, 24 and Oct. 1
Duration: 1 hour
Ages: 7 to 16
Led by: Locally Crafted Workshop (@createatlocallycrafted)

Take a break from your lesson plans and join us for our new four-week homeschool makers workshop! This series will offer homeschooled students a chance to meet new friends and try some fun crafting techniques at the same time.

Our list of potential projects is long and growing every day, but so far it includes:

  • Zines

  • Lego printmaking

  • Weaving

  • A very cool beaded sculpture project

  • Pompoms and tassels

  • Collage and shadowboxes

  • Art journaling

This series is open to students ages 7 to 16. Projects will be modified for different age groups when necessary.

Also: We’re looking for a high school-aged “intern” to assist with these workshops. If your homeschooled teen is outgoing, good with other kids (especially younger ones) and has a strong crafty side, we’d love to have their help. They’ll take home all the materials to do their own crafting (and maybe a few other thank-you treats too!). Please send us a note at info@locallycraftedworkshop.com if you’d like to learn more.

Our cancellation policy for workshop series: If you need to cancel the series, let us know at least 10 days before the FIRST workshop date and we’re happy to offer you a refund (minus 10%  convenience fee). After that, refunds will not be offered for individual classes in the series.
