Duration: 3 hours
Ages: All ages
Saturday, June 14, is Worldwide Knit in Public Day, and we’re celebrating! (We’re including crocheters in our party, so whether you prefer hooks or needles, you’re invited.) From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., we’ll open our doors for a FREE meetup for our knitting and crocheting friends, so bring a project and a snack and let’s craft.
Crafters of all ages and abilities are invited — even if you’re just curious about fiber arts, come see what the fuss is all about. Chances are you’ll find some knitters who are more than happy to show you what they’re working on.
Though it’s absolutely free to meet up and stitch, we’ll have a few fun extras available for purchase during the event:
Create your own custom stitch markers using charms and beads. We’ll have a variety of notions so you can create exactly the style of marker you prefer, plus all the tools you’ll need to assemble it. We’ll even have some fun solutions for stitch marker storage.
Customize a project bag or pouch at our Patch Bar. We have bags and pouches in several sizes, from the perfect sock knitting pouch to a sweater-sized tote. Browse from hundreds of patches to make a project bag that it perfectly personal.
Everyone will received a free Knit in Public Day 2025 flair button, which can pop right onto your favorite project bag.
Tickets are FREE, but we'd love if you'd register to let us know you're coming.
