Bring a bit of summer style into your home all year with a gorgeous 3D citrus-themed canvas, painted by you!

This hands-on workshop is designed for crafters of all skill levels— no prior painting experience is required. Local artist Adria Aghasi (@artellacreativeclub) and her sister, Aida, will guide participants step by step through the entire creative process in a fun, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere.

Participants will learn to:

• Paint a beautiful acrylic background on a 12- by 16-inch canvas.

• Blend colors and create depth with simple painting techniques.

• Paint realistic 3D lemons.

• Assemble and attach the dimensional lemons to the canvas using professional adhesives.

• Create a unique mixed-media artwork ready to display at home.

What’s included:

• All art materials and supplies: Canvas, paints, brushes, adhesives, and pre-prepared molding material for creating the raised lemons.

• Coffee, tea, and a light snack.

• Step-by-step instruction throughout the workshop.

At the end of the class, every participant will leave with:

• A beautiful handmade 3D lemon canvas artwork.

• New painting and mixed-media skills.

• A memorable creative experience to enjoy and share.

This workshop is for crafters ages 16 and older.

About the instructor

Adria Aghasi is an artist, educator, and the founder of Artella Creative Club. She is an Iranian immigrant currently based in Maryland. Her artistic journey began at the age of 13 when she enrolled in an arts high school in Iran. She holds a bachelor’s degree in painting, a bachelor’s degree in Law, and a master’s degree in animation directing.

Over the years, Adria has taught art to children and adults, and her artwork has been featured in books, newspapers, and magazines. She has participated in both solo and group exhibitions, and she is working toward her next solo exhibition while continuing to teach art classes and creative workshops throughout Maryland.
