It feels like it’s time to make mini bookcases again! TBH, we make them almost every week at birthday parties and private workshops, but it’s been a few months since we hosted a community workshop. Whether you’ve made a whole collection of bookcases, or this will be your first time, we’d love to show you why this has become one of our workshop’s signature projects.

This time, we’ll have some cute fall and Halloween miniatures to include in your book nook, but plenty of other objects and books that you can choose from too if you prefer a more general theme.

This is a family-friendly workshop! We welcome book and miniature lovers of all ages (well, 7 and up), and we love seeing families work on this project together. So bring your favorite crafting buddy, regardless of age! Crafters under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

This workshop includes:

• A 5-by-5-inch bookcase ready for you to customize and embellish.

• Lots of tiny books! We’ll have mini versions of actual books — contemporary and classic — and some you can decorate yourself.

• Miniature decorative items like coffee mugs, animals and food, plus some fall-themed minis like pumpkins and ghosts.

• A buffet of supplies so you can embellish your shelves; create items like potted plants or flowers in vases; or whatever else you can dream up to make your perfect space.

• Plus, you’re welcome to bring any tiny trinkets or photos to add your own touches.

Whether it’s your first time or your fourth, we can’t wait to make tiny things with you!

This workshop is open to crafters ages 7 and up, but kids under 11 should be accompanied by an adult.
